Your Hunting App is a smart phone app that uses your phone's GPS to sort through our custom database to tell you what s in season in your specific area. The NC Hunting app supports the state of North Carolina; we also have a Virginia Hunting app. We have developed the app specifically for Deer, Bear and Turkey in the "Big Game" section and Waterfowl and Web-less Migratory Game-birds in the "Migratory Birds" section. We have included indicators for the weapon that can be used to hunt in the specific season. These include Firearms, Archery and Muzzle loader. Special features include: One touch seasons for your area, GPS enabled (this is included in the subscription). You just touch the cross hairs on the home screen and it will give you a pop up with what s in season for that day and for your specific area. Calendar feature, GPS enabled (this is an in-app purchase). Allows you to pick the month and day you want to see what s in season in your area. Seasons screen (Big Game Season fee. Migratory Birds season is an in-app purchase). Gives you a list of Counties to pick from and then lets you see all the seasons for the year sorted by the animal or weapon. We have also included a "Nearby" screen that lists local Restaurants, Hunting stores and Shooting Ranges all sorted by distance from your current location.
